My first wedding cake I made was for my own wedding. I admit that it is a little crazy to make your own wedding cake, let alone two of them! My husband wanted a chocolate grooms cake, I wanted a green one with daisies. The chocolate cake had hand-made truffles on the top (kind of hard to see in the photo). The truffles and the daisies were made ahead of time so on the morning of the wedding all I had to do was stick them on. I also had some serious help from some of my aunts, thank you! We had a lot of cake!
